With more data being collected, shared, used, and stored than ever before, organizations across Canada have become subject to more detailed and stringent federal and provincial privacy laws and regulations, with the potential for severe financial penalties for non-compliance. The pace of privacy and data-related legislative reform will likely continue in 2025 and beyond. Understanding and meeting your obligations is a must.
