IIAC and Capco have partnered for a series of industry discussion sessions examining the evolution of the Global OTC Derivatives marketplace and its impact on Canadian participants. The sessions examine different aspects of the OTC Derivatives lifecycle (i.e Trading, Clearing, Collateral Management, Regulatory Reporting, etc). This session on May 22, 2014 will focus on the increasingly important function of collateral management.

Ronny Cosijns is a Partner based in Capco’s Frankfurt Office, responsible for market infrastructures in the Capital Markets practice. Ronny has over two decades experience in the financial services industry, having worked with leading Exchange Groups, CCPs and CSDs as well as with financial institutions. His area of focus is regulatory change: the alignment of strategy, operations and technology to drive competitive advantage in the ever-evolving financial services landscape.

Ronny is a well-respected industry expert and recently authored, “More than ever, Collateral Management is central to regulatory compliance and commercial success”. He is supporting market infrastructures and financial institutions in Europe in defining new partnerships and solutions that will enable the industry to be compliant with the new regulatory demands for a more efficient collateral management market model.
